Simplify.

I’ve been thinking about how cluttered and busy our lives are.
There is so much noise and garbage we constantly complain about being slammed with.
But we don’t really do anything to prevent or avoid it.
“It’s just the way it is.”

I’m tired of settling for that answer.
Personally, I’m doing something about it.

And I’m not suggesting this is for everyone.
But I do feel it necessary in my life to become what I have been called to.

I’ve already had my television cut off.
And my internet may be next.
All they are right now are distractions and unnecessary expenses that keep me from spending time with the One who is worthy of it.

As drastic as that sounds, or as many people that think I’ve gone crazy, it isn’t that big of a deal to me.
I miss life that isn’t tied into technology.

And if giving up entertainment to get to know the One who gave up his son to get to know me is what it takes to lead a refreshed and revolutionary life, then sign me up!

Peace and love.
