My name is Kyle Gilbert. I’m a 28 year old former Student Pastor currently not working anywhere as a Student Pastor. I had resigned from my staff position at a church in my hometown some time ago, and am now serving on staff at Asbury United Methodist Church in Madison, AL as Sound Technician for Traditional Worship Services and volunteering with Fathom Student Ministries. For now, this is my place to serve and help a ministry grow, or a place to grow myself and find healing and restoration.
Either way, for this particular stage in my life, that is where God has me. In that, there is a purpose God has for me. And I’m still striving to find out exactly what that is.
As for this blog, this is a place for my random musings on life, love, and the pursuit of God. And His pursuit of us.
It is a work in progress. Hopefully it always will be.
